Geo-Hell Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

NCreviewer: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

Judge not, lest ye yourself be judged.
(Matthew 7:1)

Hell is other people.
(Jean- Paul Sartre)

The best thing about geocaching is when you find a really good cache. The worst thing about geocaching is when you find a really bad one.

The other day, I was purging leaky old cache containers that I had picked up during maintenance on some of my old caches, but I was keeping the old swag. I asked myself, "why are you keeping this crappy, moldy old swag that nobody wanted the first time around?", then it hit me...why not make a crappy swag cache??

EVEN BETTER!! WHY NOT MAKE THE WORST CACHE EVER!?!?

So here it is....the culmination of all the things you hate in a cache!!

In this cache you will find:
*) crappy, moldy old swag
*) a broken pencil and a leaky pen
*) a log (not wet yet, but trust me the container leaks like a sieve!)

Also please note:
*) The TB listed as being in the cache hasn't been seen or heard from since 2006
*) It's listed as a regular sized cache, but it's really more like a small
*) It's listed as a 3/3 but it's really more like a 1/1. That's good because....
*) The coordinates are about 30 feet off

And my personal favorite:
The cache is placed prohibitivelty close to an area of interest with no mention of what happened there (in this case, the office building at 2500 Raeford Road where Marty Theer was murdered in December 2000, a case subsequently featured on 'Dateline NBC', the TV show 'Snapped' and the true-crime novel "The Officer's Wife" - look it up!)

So when you log your find, go ahead and tell your own personal pet peeve about the caches you find (or don't). Feel free to report the cache as needing maintenance while you're at it....although I pass this way at least two or three times a month, I'll check on it again in a year or two (maybe).
