MMR - If you've completed the first two caches in this series, then you know what's up here. A couple fast facts about the "R" in MMR, Rubella:
Rubella, commonly known as German measles, is a disease caused by the rubella virus.
The name "rubella" is derived from Latin, meaning little red. Rubella is also known as German measles because the disease was first described by German physicians in the mid-eighteenth century.
This disease is often mild and attacks often pass unnoticed. The disease can last one to three days, children recovering more quickly than adults.
Infection of the mother by Rubella virus during pregnancy can be serious. Thanks to widespread administration of the MMR vaccine, the virus has been virtually eliminated in the Western Hemisphere.
Now for information about the cache: Just like the previous two caches, you're going to have to work to get to this one. Just the walk to the location of the beacon will be tough. Once you arrive, utilize a great deal of patience to get to the container.
There is an opportunity to park at the other end, but I caution you: the local farmer, whose lane would become blocked by a geocacher parking there, will NOT take kindly to your intrusion. Please park at the western terminus of this Level-B road and hoof it down to the cache. Also, the same farmer will NOT have time to help you pull your vehicle out, should you become stuck. DO NOT ask him for help. He has been informed of the placement of geocaches along the road, and will contact me if there are problems.
Starting off with a portrait of George Washington for FTF. A couple IGO pathtags for second and third to find. As with the others, take your time, enjoy your hike. Practice CITO where appropriate, and above all, have fun!
