Mongo: # Understanding “Owner attention requested” logs #

In order to maintain a positive finding experience here is Missouri we need your help.

You’re receiving this email because a geocacher posted an OWNER ATTENTION LOG for your geocache.

These logs are a normal—and important—part of owning a geocache. An “Owner attention requested” log is a helpful alert that your geocache may need maintenance, such as replacing the container or logbook.

When this type of log is posted, your cache page will show the “**Owner maintenance icon**) and attribute. To remove the icon and attribute, follow these steps:
1. Maintain your cache. Find out how.
* If your cache won’t be available to find while you repair it, temporarily disable it to remove it from the map.
2. From your cache page, select Log geocache.
3. Choose Owner maintenance as the log type. Describe what changed, then Post to remove the “Owner attention requested” attribute. REMOVAL OF OWNER ATTENTION ICON
* If you temporarily disabled your cache, remember to enable it. HOW TO ENABLE YOUR GEOCACHE.

Your geocache has been disabled to allow you time to go out and conduct the maintenance needed.

Thank you for being a responsible cache owner and adding to the geocaching game board!

Many thanks,
Mongo

Geocache Description:

If I don't get some shelter Oh yeah, I'm gonna fade away...

This is a 2 stage multi-cache unlike any that I have ever seen. It might very well be the first but not last of its kind that will show up in that Kansas City area, only time and the response to this cache will tell if there will be more to follow. You will need a smart phone to solve a field puzzle, your GPS’r or smart phone to figure out a second one and a pair of tweezers, show up without any of these items and you will be more than likely making a second trip out to find this cache. No other tools of any kind are needed and there is nothing at all to disassemble or dismantle to find either stage.

Permission to place this cache has been granted by Platte County Parks and Rec. Night caching is not permitted. Park hours are from dawn to dusk year round. There is a small parking lot only feet from stage one but this cache is by no means a park and grab. The difficulty rating suggests that it might just be a little tougher....but I will let you be the judge of that. Please click on the related page link at the top of this listing for more information about this very cool park.

Replace the stages as you found them or better if found out in the open and please contact me if any maintenance needs to be done. Stealth may be required at times for both stages. Please do not post spoilers of any kind including pictures. Have fun with this leap day cache!!!

Two Paws Up and Congratulations to mojedo and fatback on FTF of this 5 star difficulty cache!!!
