This is a small family owned (60) head dairy farm which has been in operation since 1978.
The cows are milked twice a day and the milk is sold to AMPI and then resold to processors which make cheese, yogurt, ice cream and used as fluid milk for family use that is sold in stores. Each cow gives app. 80 pounds of milk (ten gallons) each day and delivers a calf each year. The ratio of new calves is 45 heifers and 55 bull calves. If you see Larry on the farm yard feel free to visit with him. He is very aware of geo-caching.
