Peace has no borders. Coincidentally, neither does geocaching :)
Possibly the greatest achievement of the Costa Rican people is an entire generation of peace, beginning with unilateral disarmament and the disbanding of their military in 1948, which was written into their constitution the next year.
The first parts of the park were inaugurated in 1989, and by the rotunda Oscar Arias' quote "La paz no tiene fronteras" is now faded and barely recognizable. Arias won the nobel peace prize in 1987 for negotiating peace talks in central american conflicts, particularly in helping settle the unrest in Nicaragua that was being fueled by large outside military interests.
The park is now my daily exercise route, along with dozens of other ticos, and a popular place for families and kite enthusiasts on weekends, especially in the summer months (Dec-Mar). Take your time enjoying the park and manda saludos a la policía montada. Like I said, there are a LOT of muggles and they are very curious, so be inconspicuous. There are not usually a lot of people at the location of the final cache, but rehide it well.
The multicache involves 4 stages, each giving a clue to the location of the final cache. It's long, I know, but take your time and pura vida mae:

- The coordinates place you on a small cement bridge over a ditch. Look at your feet to find digit “A”: 2[A]-1-02
