Park in Sparkman Park in the town of Hartselle, AL (Signs to the park are just south of the Hwy 36/31 intersection as you head south on Hwy 31, turn right on Hayes Rd just after the small motel on your right)...parking lot coordinates: 34d 25.647N 086d 56.171W. Take the paved walk towards the covered shelters. Just past the bridge and shortly after the two cat houses, you'll be close.
The Star Chest cache is inside a clear round plastic Rubbermaid container.
On June 5th, 2005 we replaced the old water damaged container with a brand new weatherproof one loaded with new goodies.
There is a new Travel Bug inside....Purple Racer....please send him on his way racing across the country to as many caches as possible.
