This series of caches can be done either individually or as a walk of approximately 1.5 miles, taking in two attractive parks and a stretch of the Grand Union Canal.
The route follows the Uxbridge section of the Trail of Discovery
This cache is a nano placed by the towpath. Please bring tweezers, replace log in the lid and put cache back exactly where you found it.
Fassnidge Park recreation ground was presented to the people of Uxbridge for their quiet enjoyment and pleasure of its townspeople by Kate Fassnidge in memory of her husband, Edward.
Rockingham Rec has a new trim trail, football pitches and the River Frays runs along its eastern boundary.
The Grand Union Canal leaves the River Thames at Brentford and climbs over fifty locks up into the Chiltern Hills. It descends then climbs again to a new summit in Birmingham, 137 miles and 166 locks.
