S-122, Westport, PA was established on May 30, 1933. In addition to the regular forestry work, which comprised of road construction, maintenance, and fire fighting, the technical staff constructed a beautiful recreational park on Kettle Creek, about five miles upstream from the camp. A dam was constructed which made an ideal pool for swimming, boating, and ice skating. This CCC dam remains at the site of the Kettle Creek State Park campground. This camp closed in 1938.
