The Indiana Harbor was originally launched in March 1979, a part of the American Steamship Company fleet.
The boat is a straight deck self un-loader. The Boat is 1,000 feet in length and has a maximum load capacity of 78,850 tons. It is powered by 4 V20 cylinders, 3,500 horsepower diesel engines.
