This cache is situated close to the Old River Stort, not the Navigation, between Rye House and Roydon.
If approaching from Roydon please take care on the narrow section of road between the train station and the footpath leading to the geocache. If approaching from the Rye House end, you may choose to park at the Rye Meads Visitor Centre but do take note of the closing times.
Having never explored this footpath before, I couldn't help but place a cache here as I was so pleased with the route. Keep an eye for the variety of wildlife in this area and cattle.
