Pacmania: I don't get out this way much anymore for maintenance. It's been almost 10 years, so a good run. Thanks to all the finders...

Cache was missing, so unable to collect.

Geocache Description:

Binalong is a small village on the Burley Griffin Way between Bowning and Harden.

It was established in the 1830's and 1840's, and prospered as a wayside stop on the road to the goldfields at Young. As well as attracting many travellers it also brought the bushrangers (Gilbert's grave is on the outskirts of the village). The railway arrived in 1876 providing a further boost for the area.

The main street of Binalong has been bypassed for many years, and the area has retained many of its old buildings - its really worth a walk around!

The listed coordinates are at a well maintained park in the centre of the village. There are many informative signs, murals, tidy-town plaques etc. Well worth stopping for.

Please replace the cache as found (on the park side) so that it cant be seen. Thanks.
