Hidden Wind, Flowing Water Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Zalgariath: I have spoken to my friend who owns the venue where the cache is hidden and it has been moved from its original placement. We have decided to archive this one for now as it no longer meets the guidelines in its current placement and we cant scope out a new hide from here in Australia. Thanks for all the visits!

Geocache Description:

Zalgar & Zhaomin's Beijing Cache!

You are hunting for a small wooden Treasure Chest big enough for a TB or two. You will know it when you see it. Hidden in plain sight and maintained by a local semi-muggle friend of ours who lives and works nearby. Both local and tourist friendly! :D

The cache is on private but 24/7 publicly accessible property.
Permission for placement granted by the manager of the property.

English Version / Chinese Version:

The "I Ching" (易经) or "Yì Jīng" (in pinyin), also known as the Classic of Changes, Book of Changes and Zhouyi, is one of the oldest of the Chinese classic texts. The book contains a divination system comparable to Western geomancy; in Western cultures and modern East Asia, it is still widely used for this purpose.

Cáng Fēng De Shuǐ, meaning Hidden Wind, Flowing Water (藏风得水) is from The Book of Change and will help you on your path to discovery today. How? You'll have to wait until you get there!

On that... Please be aware Google Maps are offset in China... That is, the Cache Icon will appear to be in the middle of a bunch of buildings over 100m away from the actual location. This is obviously wrong. The cache location is accessible from the street (but it is not ON the street ;). Specifically you should be starting your hunt on Xue Yuan Road near a Dumpling and Tea House. If you use the satellite image you will have a better idea... or (shock horror) simply follow the arrow on your GPS as I averaged the co-ords for a while ;)

Small note on cache maintenance: There is a local cache guardian. Name and contact info on file with geocaching.com.
