Geocache Description:

You are looking for a camo bison tube. The trail is flat and paved. It is not far from the trail. This park is very well kept and relatively few people know it exists. Daytime only - 8:00 AM to dusk. This is my first cache placement. I hope you like it.

Public Service Park is an outdoor, interactive, environmental learning center that brings education, wonder and amazement to the banks of Banklick Creek. This park is a national model for environmental outreach. SD1 has allowed me to place this cache.

I encourage you to spend some time walking the trails and learning what SD1 (Sanitation District 1) does for Northern Kentucky. The cache is easy to find, but you must walk the trail. You can not drive up to it. Please park in one of the public parking spots on the north side of the lot. The trail head starts across from #7 on the map.

Location: SD1's administrative office, 1045 Eaton Drive, Ft. Wright, Kentucky

Hours of Operation: 8 a.m. to dusk, seven days a week. Field trips and guided tours are available. To schedule a visit, call the Storm Water Hotline at
859-578-6745 or sign up online at www.sd1.org/tours.

*Notice: Use of the District's park and facilities are at your own risk under KRS KY 411.190, Kentucky State Recreational User Statutes.

SD1 maintains more than 1,600 miles of sanitary sewer line, 142 wastewater pumping stations, 15 flood pump stations, 8 package treatment plants, two major wastewater treatment plants, more than 400 miles of storm sewer and over 29,000 storm sewer structures. For more information, go to www.SD1.org
