La Cueva de los Letreros se entcontra en el parque natural “Sierra Maria – Los Velez”
En este parque se puede ver rocas calizas con fisuras importantes, que empinadon en parte a una altura mas de 2000 m.
Como roca caliza se dominan rocas de sedimento, que en su mayuría consisten de calciocarbono (CaCO3) en forma de los minerales calcito y aragonito. Roca caliza existe en muchos colores diferentes.
El roca caliza es muy propenso a desmoronarse al efectos ambientales. Por eso se han formado muchas cuevas en este parque natural.
La rupestre „Indalo“ fue encontrado en la „Cueva de los Letreros“ en Vélez-Blanco. Sobre todo a todos los Almerienses este simbolo proporciona a quien lo lleva, buena suerte y protección.
Manda un correo con las respuestas a nosotros. No es necesario entrar a la cueva para las respuestras!

- Tarea 3: En N 37°40.538 W 002°05.744 se encontra un banco de piedras. Sientate y mira a la derecha. Se puede ver una roca caliza en una forma extraña. Añadir una ilustración de este roca a tu log (dibujo, no fotógrafias)
No es necesario esperar al permiso de loquear, pero sin respuestras correctas vamos a apagar el log!
Si quieres, puedes añadir a tu log una foto de ti o tu GPS delante de la cueva.

Die Höhle “Los Letreros“ befindet sich im Naturpark “Sierra Maria – Los Velez”
In diesem Naturpark kann man stark zerklüftete Kalksteinformationen sehen, die teils sehr steil auf über 2000 m Höhe ansteigen.
Als Kalkstein bezeichnet man Sedimentgesteine , die ganz überwiegend aus Calciumcarbonat (CaCO3) in Form der Mineralien Calcit und Aragonit bestehen. Kalkstein gibt es in vielen verschiedenen Farben.
Kalkstein ist für Verwitterung durch Umwelteinflüsse sehr anfällig. Deshalb haben sich hier im Naturpark viele Höhlen gebildet.
In der Höhle “Cueva de los Letreros” in Vélez-Blanco wurde unter anderem die Höhlenmalerei “Indalo” entdeckt, die in der Provinz Almeria als Glücksbringer gilt.
Bitte mailt uns die Antworten auf folgende Aufgaben (diese lassen sich auch ohne Betreten der Höhle ermitteln):
1. Durch welchen Umwelteinfluss wurde das Gestein in diesem Gebiet in seine jetzigen Formen gebracht?
2. Welche Farben hat der Kalkstein hier überwiegend?
3. Bei N 37°40.538 W 002°05.744 befindet sich eine Bank aus Stein. Setzt Euch auf diese Bank und schaut nach rechts. Ihr seht einen Kalkstein in einer auffälligen Form. Fertigt eine Zeichnung dieses Felsens an und mailt uns diese (kein Foto).
Loggen dürft ihr laut Spielregel sofort. Wir melden uns, falls die Antworten nicht korrekt oder unvollständig sind.
Wir freuen uns natürlich über Fotos von Euch an der Höhle, dies ist aber keine Logbedingung.

The cave “Los Letreros“ is situated in the nature park „Sierra Maria – Los Velez”
In this nature park you can see very weathered limestone-formations, that partly surge up to a height of 2000 m and more.
Limestone is a sedimantary rock, which consists mostly of calcium carbonate (CaCO3) in form of the minerals calcite and aragonite. You can find limestone with many different colours.
Limestone is very susceptible to weathering due to environmental influences, as a result you can find many limestone-caves in this area.
The cave-painting „Indalo“ was discovered in the cave of „los Letreros“. Especially for the whole province of Almeria this symbol brings good luck to those who wear it.
Please mail the answers to the following questions (it is possible to get them without entering the cave):
1. What was the most environmental influence that formed the limestone in this territory?
2. Which colours of limestone are predominant at this cave?
3. At N 37°40.538 W 002°05.744 you’ll find a stone-bench. Sit down and turn to the right. You‘ll look at a limestone which has a very special form. Draw this stone and upload this picture with your log (no photos).
