This is your opportunity to take the road less traveled. It is best accessed by turning north on Frink road from highway 111 south of the border check point. Head south towards Niland.

A quick park and grab with a few thorny barriers around it. A St Patrick's Day Pot O' Gold for the Irish Geocachers out there, but isn't everyone Irish on March 17?
The Coachella Canal Road runs along the Coachella Canal from the Glamis Dunes in the south to Lake Cahuilla (near the PGA West Golf Course) in the north. It stretches 122 miles long and can be very rough in areas. The stretch of road that we have placed our caches along is gravel(sometimes bumpy) which is navigable by even a mini van. There is not much traffic on this road as it is used by Canal maintenance workers and border patrol officers.
