Cachen er plassert slik at man får se litt mer av Sund en det man ser fra hovedveien. Sund er en stille og rolig plass med ca 40 innbyggere. Før kystriksveien var ferdig i 1981 måtte man hit for å ta ferge hvis man skulle til Bodø. På den tiden var det både butikk, bensinstasjon, lensmannskontor og posthus her, men nå er det et stille og rolig paradis med lite traffikk. Thelorentzenfamily bor her (ikke så langt unna cachen) og har bodd her siden 2000. Mr Lorentzenfamily er oppvokst her. Lykke til med letinga, og ta dere gjerne tid til å se dere rundt når dere først er her.

The cache is placed so that you get to see a bit more of a Sund than you see from the highway. Sund is a quiet place with about 40 inhabitants. Before the coastal highway was completed in 1981 you had to come here to take the ferry if you should go to Bodø. At that time there was both a shop, petrol station, sheriff's office and post office here, but now it is a quiet paradice with almost no traffic. Thelorentzenfamily live here (not so far away from the cache) and has lived here since 2000. Mr Lorentzenfamily grew up here.
