COME ON OUT AND ENJOY A DAY OF PEACE AND QUIET ON THE RIVER ENJOYING EVERYTHING MOTHER NATURE HAS TO OFFER.
This cache is located on Snake Creek located just off the St. John's River in Orange City. Parking and launching can be located just passed Blue Springs State Park entrance about a mile or so straight down the dirt road. An added waypoint is available but should you forget to load it, you can find the place at N 28° 56.806 W 081° 20.640. If you are up for a 9-mile paddle (5-6 hours on average) around Snake Creek, Dead River and part of the St. John's river, there are a few other caches and a challenge that can keep you busy along the way so don't forget to load your GPS for a fun filled day. Don't forget to take a trip down Birdhouse lane on the final stretch leading you back to the St. John's River. Take your picture for the challenge cache listed above. Enjoy!! map course:
