2-29-2012 Traditional Cache
PinkDolphin: After almost 4 years it is with great regret I am archiving this cache. REX is growing and another cache is the victim or potential victim of urban growth. Construction equipment was very close to the cache and the house on the other side of the woods is being dismantled so I fear this is no longer a viable spot. Thank you to all who found my Leap Day Cache of 2012.

February 29th, some may think this day is sacred, even the Holy Grail of Geocaching since it only comes along once every four years. So in honor of this day I placed a cache to commemorate this date.
For many new cachers today will be their first opportunity to fill that days cache grid, for others it might be just to add more count to the day. However there is also the lesser known finds by “date placed” grid. This will remain in place for future cachers who are new to the game to grab a cache placed on February 29th, even if they have to wait to make a find on this day.
I would recommend the suggested parking you will draw less attention to yourself, however, in truth you can probably drive within 25’ of this cache. For some this will be quick for others they may get depressed and take a bit longer. Either way, have fun and if you get stuck don’t hesitate to email me.
