Cache is a small round lock and lock hidden along the banks of the Blackberry River.
Some people choose to take the high road. This cache will encourage you to take the low road - more specifically, Lower Road in Canaan. Lower Rd. is a short detour off of Rt 44, and will take you past the Beckley Furnace, a winery, and a limestone quarry. The location for this hide is near a parking area where the road runs alongside the Blackberry River. Terrain could be a little more difficult if wet or snow-covered, but the cache itself will remain winter friendly. Please re-hide well.
