Geocache Description:

Old cache container, new location. Hence, the "NEW" cache, eh? Made way for COYOTE JACK's newest cache in this area. If you have not been out to "the village" this year, go again and see the new changes.

I am copying and pasting the old description of Combat Village. This is a new cache and you can claim this as another find, even if you had found the original.

You need to be aware that there are stretches of sandy roads to reach this cache. Roads are somewhat maintained, some washes. Just use common sense in driving to the location.

We were out to the Betty Lee Mine area with our geobuds, Mountain Climber 66, and they wanted to take us to this little known area on the BGR. We were so fascinated with it, we just knew this was going to be a good place for a cache. You will be amazed if you have never been here before. Beware of live ammo rounds everywhere. This area is still in use as a mock battle area for the military.

The cache container is "irregular" in size, somewhere between SMALL and LARGE. It is not a hard find, no need to climb the mock watertower.

To find this cache you will need a Barry Goldwater Range Pass. The pass is free and can be applied for at the main entrance (off Avenue 3E to the Marine Corps Air Station. You are responsible to follow all range rules and KEEP YOUR VEHICLE ON THE ROAD! Travel only on foot or horseback off the established roads

CONGRATULATION TO RITA AND JOHN, SKIBUM1, and WORHZ, FOR THE FIRST TO FIND. OUTSTANDING JOB!
