A. Challenge:
Before October 15, 2025, to find all geocaches published BEFORE August 4, 2025 AND located within within OMSP.
B. Reference:
Oak Mountain State Park Bookmark List
C. Requirement:
1. Before October 15, 2025, to log as “Found” all current and active geocaches published BEFORE AUGUST 4, 2025 AND located within OMSP.
2. In order to claim successful completion of this challenge, claimant will make a post on this cache page indicating the date of completion and number of caches claimed. Claims will be verified on-line and inaccurate claims will be deleted from this cache page.
D. Special Instructions:
1. All are welcome to find and sign the log at this cache at any time BUT SHOULD NOT LOG as Found online until the Challenge has been completed.
1a. Claimants can log as Found or Write Note to make claim per Section C. Requirements Step 2.
2. Caches logged as ‘found” prior to the publication of this cache page can be claimed as found for the purpose of this challenge.
3. A replacement cache known by a different GC Code is a new and different cache even though a prior and/or similar cache had been placed at the same location thus it cannot be claimed per above.
E. Exceptions:
1. Mystery/Puzzle type caches OTHER THAN THOSE OWNED BY THE GANG FROM PHAH ARE excluded from this challenge.
1a. A cache NOT identified as a Mystery/Puzzle cache that lists special actions or obligations before logging MAY be exempt. As of 04/19/2013, there are no caches in this category. However, as example, GC4618V is a Letterbox-type AND Challenge Cache that could meet this exemption. Note that GC4618V is not exempt.
1b. The California Fizzy: In ALABAMA!!is owned by the Gang From PHAH and is identified as a Mystery/Puzzle cache. Because this cache is a challenge cache and lists special actions or obligations before logging, this cache IS exempt. Future Challenge Caches owned by the Gang From PHAH that meet this exemption should have the word 'Challenge' within its name and they also will be exempt.
2. Any cache that is “disabled” or ‘archived’ by the cache owner OR GC Reviewer is excluded even though it might remain on the Bookmark List
3. Caches that appear to be missing AND there exist a ‘needs archived’ post on the cache page, even if you are the person that posted such log, are excluded.
4. Caches that appear to be missing AND there exist a ‘needs maintenance’ post on the cache page AND there is an immediate prior DNF posted on the cache page, even if you are the person that posted such logs are excluded.
5. For the purpose of this challenge, a posted DNF on either ‘needs achieved’ or ‘needs maintenance’ described above counts as a ‘Found’ EVEN IF THE CACHE IS LATER REPAIRED. There is no reason to return to a cache site where the cache was believed to be missing on a prior attempt and has since been repaired.
6. For the purpose of this challenge, certain caches will be added to this Exception 6 due to a presumed danger should an attempt be made by a solo or unskilled seeker. This Exception will include caches requiring certain water skills or climbing skills, or other difficulties where there is clearly 'safety in numbers'.

F. Definitions:
1. “Oak Mountain State Park Bookmark List” – the Bookmark List maintained by CanUCacheThis linked from relevant cache pages is the official list of all current and active geocaches in Oak Mountain State Park.
2. “Current” – the Bookmark List may be periodically updated; persons claiming to have met the challenge must reconcile their record with the Bookmark List published at the time they are making the claim.
3. “Active” – caches on the Bookmark List that are not disabled or archived.
4. “Found” – an entry on the appropriate cache page showing that the person has successfully written his/her name, or in certain reasonable cases, a ‘team/group’ name, on the cache log.
G. Amendments:
1. 03/12/2012: Effective midnight 31 March 2012, Section E. Exceptions: Rule 1 has been modified to include mystery type caches owned by the Gang from PHAH. Until that date claimants may disregard the condition caused by the words "OHER THAN THOSE OWNED BY THE GANG FROM PHAH'. Contact the cache owner by email to acquire relevant details or to make appeals.
2. 10/22/2012: Effective midnight 30 November 2012. Additional completions of this challenge are allowed. Rules governing claims for completing this challenge more than once are: That there A) is/was a minimum of 31 days AND B) a minimum of 15 new/additional caches have/had been added to the Bookmark List and found between the claims. The Claimant must return to the Challenge cache container and sign the paper log for each subsequent completion and all subsequent signings shall not have less than 31 days between.
2a. 02/28/2014: Effective Midnight 02 February 2014. Any FOUTH subsequent claim of completion for this challenge must be made on the Claimant’s birthday. Example: If Claimant has meet all general conditions and the 10/22/2012 Amendment, and if Claimant’s birthday is on April 20th, and Claimant must return to the Challenge cache container and sign the paper log on April 20.
3. 04/19/2013: Added: E. Exceptions: Paragraph 1a. Special exemption rule for wrongly 'typed' Challenge caches AND Puzzle/Mystery Caches.
4. 01/02/2014: Added: E. Exceptions: Paragraph 1b. Special exemption rule for Gang from PHAH Challenge caches.
5. 03/21/2015: Added: E. Exceptions: Paragraph 6. Special exemption rule for caches with a presumed danger when attempted solo or requiring certain skills.
6. 04/08/2015: Established a restriction on new geocaches. Effective mid-night, April 15, 2015 geocaches published after that time/date are not required to meet the Challenge regardless of their listing on the Bookmark List.
7. 01/15/2017: Extended the Challenge period from 2015, the Owner's 65th birthday, to 2020 to what is expected to the Owner's 70th birthday.
8. 01/15/2021: Extended the Challenge period from 2020, the Owner's 70th birthday, to 2025 to what is expected to the Owner's 75th birthday.
