A quick but steep walk from either a layby on A1307 Cambridge to Haverhill road or car park of Wandlebury Country Park, which also has 1 virtual, 2 multis and 1 traditional caches. Cyclists can use bike racks in Wandlebury Car Park or cycle nearer along roadside gravel shared use footpath / cycle way. Walkers can use either gravel path or woodland track. All need woodland track for last section to Wormwood Hill, a small steep round hillock, with attractive holm oaks.

There is no need to climb over any fences nor cross any fields, even at the edges. Free maps are available whenever park is open to public - head for gold domed clock tower, then look for porch with leaflet racks. On summer Sundays, there's a cabin in the staffed car park with leaflets. At all times, a huge map is visible in the covered noticeboard at the raised end of the car park.
Car parking at Wandlebury Country Park costs £3.00 all day (from April 2014) - handy if you want to find other caches on the park, including Wandlebury Past (multi) GC2BQ3R, Wandlebury Present (multi) GC2BQ6C, Wandlebury Future (traditional) GC2BQHJ and Polar Bear's Folly - I can see my house from here! (virtual) GCABED. Free car parking if you are a member of the charity that runs the site.
No entry charge for anyone. On bus route 13 and 13A.
Cache is a 800ml plastic clip lock sandwich box, green lid and clear base. Inside dimensions approx 13cm x 13cm x 6cm. Contains items related to its location, plus some random items.
This cache is a replacement for achived Wandlebury Wormwood Hill GC37Q7H - please look there for photos and previous comments by finders.
Co-ordinates amended, after checking, on 14th Jan 2012 - thanks to Jollyquest for suggestion. Previously co-ords were N 52° 09.262 E 000° 11.217
Please ensure that you cover cache with fallen leaves, not sticks. One box has been destroyed and another went missing, so I hope this can remain hidden.
