Geocache Description:

According to dad, there are lot's of adults that can't read in our area. Some go to adult education classes to learn to read and write, and some even get their GED's, which helps the ones that will work get a better job. For those that can't go to night school, there are these roadside reading and writing schools. A lady named Anna Bell Clark that was a big supporter of Wild Turkeys saw the need for these roadside reading places, and they are owned by the Commonwealth of Virginia. I know that dad can read and write, and he has a GED. He also supports Wild Turkeys, and enjoys hunting them during the Spring Gobbler and Fall Turkey seasons. He stops by here to check on some of his old friends, like Johnny Walker and Jim Beam. He also makes a donation to Anna Belle Clark's Wild Turkey assocation, and they give him a bottle of Turkey juice. The way I understand it, the juice is a type of anti-freeze. We have a Turkey feeder that we keep filled with scratch feed, except during season of course. Dad keeps the Turkey juice hidden in a hollow log near the feeder, and on cold nights he rides the ATV up there to give the Turkeys a sip to keep them from freezing on the roost in a big Hemlock tree. A true sportsman he is, and a member of PETA. That's People Eating Tasty Animals, for those of you that don't know.
