See the Related Web Page link for more information about Antelope Island. There is a fee to drive on the Causeway, and a fee to enter the State Park, which starts at the Causeway entrance. You can purchase passes at the Causeway gate. If you go to the Island very much, you can save money by purchasing a Utah State Parks Yearly Pass at any Utah State Park. You can purchase a Yearly Causeway Pass at the Causeway Gate entrance. Not sure what the price for Non-Seniors is, but the combination of a Yearly Utah State Parks Pass, and a Yearly Causeway Pass was $42 for Seniors (62 and over) a year, when we bought ours, October 2011. Do not leave your vehicle unattended on the Causeway. I have seen many people stopping to take photos, etc, and be within 100 feet of their vehicle, and the Rangers drive on by. Any more than 100 feet away from your vehicle, I would think would not be good. There is plenty of room to pull off the pavement, and not be into the grass and brush. Watch out for traffic, including bicycles, when near the road. Please don't open the roadside doors of your vehicle on a bicyclist. It will damage your doors, and seriously injure the cyclist. You don't have enough insurance to cover treatment for a Traumatic Brain Injury to someone, and you don't want to be the cause of someone's death or them being turned into a vegetable for the rest of their life.
