Night caching is done after dark with a flashlight. Fire tacks have been placed to guide you to the cache. You will be able to see the first fire tack from the parking area. The tacks are placed so they will be visible with a mini mag/2 AA battery flashlight with new batteries and spot focus. The best way to see the tacks is to hold your light at eye level and don't move past a tack until you have spotted the next one.
This cache was placed in a snow squall, so the tacks might be closer than needed, but let's try this out first and see if anyone is interested in more.
When you find two tacks together on the same tree, you are within 12 feet of the cache. Have fun and let's write some descriptive logs!
