sno_man: You're right ST, time to let this one go. I hope someone else checks out this forgotten part of Churchville Park and places a cache here. Hint hint.

Geocache Description:

Undeveloped part of Churchville Park along Black Creek. Access is via a cemetery, so NO NIGHT CACHING!

I have decided to archive my original "Fishermen's Park" geocache. The initial waypoint was very tricky because my littlest one wanted to make it hard, but the initial and the second waypoint kept disappearing all the time, so I have used the old container to make a new cache. The new cache is in a different location, so if you found the original, you won't have to feel guilty about logging this one!

This geocache will take you to an undeveloped portion of Churchville Park, along Black Creek, to an area used mostly by fishermen. In fact, it seems that only fishermen know about this part of the park, hence the name. In all, you will walk approximately 1/2 mile or so, round trip, depending on your parking choice. The terrain is mostly level, but occasionally uneven, until the last little bit. There are no real trails in the area, but plenty of deer trails.

The closest parking is along the side of a cemetery road. If the cemetery is not plowed in the winter, or if there is a service going on, there is additional parking along Main Street. NO NIGHT CACHING. Please park only where I've indicated.

I have given coordinates to what I will call a trailhead. Again, it isn't an established, well maintained trail, but rather a fairly busy deer trail. It should get you pretty close to the cache, although you will meander a bit. Going straight line direct to the cache will be a lot of bushwacking.
