Geocache Description:

Tonight we celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Virtual cache, GC4E4B, placed here at this 16th century pub in Cambridgeshire by The Wombles. Join the knees up from 5pm until 11pm, Tuesday 17th April 2012 at the above coordinates.

This is by no means the first caching event to take place at this splendid discreet pub where we have booked the entire first floor to celebrate 10 years of the Virtual cache, one of the first in London. Being a difficult pub to find it has been given a 3 star rating and 4.5 for terrain as it is a hard climb to the booked room when your hands are full delivering the beer. We hope to have Mr. Wombles making a guest appearance (no pressure) and many of the 1,308 cachers who have already found the Virtual in attendance. Please note on the food front is basic – toasties which have a tendencies to run out early, pork pies, scotch eggs and olives. This pub is not child friendly. Wheelchair users can squeeze into the alley then we can pass the drinks although there are no facilities to recycle it, unless you don’t mind doing it 16th century style.

The London Event takes place randomly each month and we welcome all Geocachers from all points of the coordinates!
