A day on the shore to meet and greet fellow cachers, cache, swim, and of course eat!
We'll be meeting at the large gazebo at Shoreline Park in Gulf Breeze FL (this has been booked with permission of the City of Gulf Breeze). The event will be from 1-4. We'll provide the hot dogs so please bring a side dish and your own beverage. This gazebo is right on the shore of a safe and shallow swimming area so bring your bathing suit and towels. The park and surrounding areas are packed with caches so come for a great day in the sun.
There's plenty of parking but if the lot gets full park back up the hill and walk down the nature trail back towards the shore. There are nice restrooms and soda machines in the area. If you launch a boat (even a kayak) the city will charge you a fee to launch from there so keep that in mind.
A little rain never hurt anyone. So if there is rain we'll still meet and eat. If, however, there is thunder and lightning (remember if you can hear thunder then you can be struck by lightning even if you can't see it) then we'll cancel the event and move it to another day.
