Geocache Description:

The National Trust's Roseberry Romp

This series of caches will take you on a circular walk around Roseberry Topping of around 5 miles. Some caches are small and well hidden, while other are large with plenty of room for swaps.

The National Trust is a charity that protects special places in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, for ever, for everyone

This cache can be found close to Roseberry's folly.

The origins of the folly are something of a mystery. Most historians believe it was built as a summerhouse where Victorian walkers could rest rather than as a shooting box, as the plaque suggests.

This is a disguised micro cache, so no room for swaps, travelbugs or geocoins. A pair of tweezers might prove handy for extracting the log and you'll need to bring your own pen.
