Fortrose is a lovely wee village on the Black Isle in the Highlands of Bonnie Scotland. Every year just after Easter, we organise a beach clean in preparation for the holiday season and the many visitors to the village and those passing through to other parts of the Black Isle. I'm taking charge this year to turn it into a caching event.
Please meet at the published parking co ordinates at 11am.. The waypoints will show the start and stop areas for this section of the beach clean. At the parking, I'll be the one wearing the hi-viz vest and cachers hat. We will have a limited supply of litter pickers, gloves and black bags. If you can manage to bring your own gloves, that would help. I'll divide everyone up into different areas to pick litter up from.
Since there will be muggles attending, please identify yourself to me as a cacher and sign the log. There may be a prize draw on the day. Just depend if I can get someone to sort me out with a prize. At noon, meet back at the car park with your bags of rubbish and you will be provided with a card that has the co-ords for some new local caches that you can claim FTF in advance of them being published. how good is that!
I realise it is an early start but it will give you a chance to do more caching afterwards!
