A fun cache you can get to on your bike, in a beautiful park. Partially a paved path and partially a walk in the woods.
This is the third in a series of geocaches that can be reached by bike. Mercer County Park is filled with terrific mountain biking trails and a paved bike/walking trail. The park is open sunrise to sunset, 365 days a year. Dogs on leashes are welcome anywhere in the park. There is a large deer population in the park. Watch for ticks and stickers. There is a chance of poison ivy around, as well. Park at N40 15.897 W 74 38.793 and take the paved path around the lake to the left, about 9/10 of a mile. The second waypoint (N 40 15.788 W 74 39.398) is where you need to leave the paved path. Of course you can also park and cut straight through the woods…there are paths all over. So take your pick! You may need tweezers. BYOP. Best way to replace the log is to roll tightly, place inside LID then slide container on and tighten.
