December 21, 1908, was enshrined in the shrine Horigane the Atago Shrine was enshrined in this area.
Collected in a place Atago Shrine of the original had been enshrined the shrine stone shrine and Yamada shrine stone shrine and Nanabashira Shrine stone

Atago Shrine had been left in its wake, was made to Atago Shrine and erected a temple in 1975.

明治41年12月21日、当地に祭られていた愛宕神社を堀兼神社に合祀しました。
その跡に残されていた愛宕神社石祠・七柱神社石祠・山田神社石祠をもとの愛宕神社が祭られていた所に集め、昭和50年神殿を造営して愛宕神社としました。
