Geocache Description:

Congratulations to 'The A-Team' as the First to Find! (PlasmaWave, BalooCrew and LAVAFLOW) on 17th April 2012 @ 16:55

I can not take the entire credit for this cache. Credit for the original placed here (The King Street Cache) goes to Brocktonfinder. It was originally placed in May 2011, but fell into decline after bad weather and lack of maintenance and was archived. As such I have placed this so that it might continue.

The cache is slightly different from the original. It is now smaller and is NOT hidden in the same place. It is a Nano container at the start of the footpath and I hope you find it a fun challenge. You may even come across a spectre that now haunts the site. Please remember to bring your own pencil and take care to replace as found.

In addition, there is another Cache in the village (Kryptos Graphein (Codebreaker)) and there is also one around 2km up the hill following this same footpath (Slyborough Hill). More recently, there is also the Broughton circuit, which I can recommend as an excellent walk with some excellent and challenging caches on route.

DESCRIPTION FROM THE ORIGINAL CACHE:
A cache at the start of a foot path, great for marking a start or finish for a country walk. It's located at the bottom of a dead end street-King Street. Please be aware though that this isnt very suitable for cars as the turning would not be appreciated by the residents nearby. The cache itself is a micro cache, that is clear containing only a log and information.

The street to which the cache is nearby is called King Street. It was historicly known as the working and trade street. It was made up of 2 bake houses and a couple of farm houses and the associated outbuildings, but all of these have been destroyed or knocked down. At the entrance to the street there is a heratage board with simaler historical information.
