El Paseo Fluvial del Arga es un camino de once kilómetros de longitud que discurre a orillas del río Arga. Se adentra en la ciudad de Pamplona por las huertas de la Magdalena, cruza el barrio de la Rochapea y, tras aproximarse al casco urbano de la ciudad, se aleja por el barrio de San Jorge. El Paseo recorre también las orillas de muchas localidades de la Cuenca de Pamplona como Burlada, Villava, Arre, Barañáin o Zizur Mayor. Tramo de la Magdalena (Larraintzar - Puente de la Magdalena) Siguiendo la dirección del río, este es el primer meandro del parque fluvial, hasta el Puente de la Magdalena. Es un paseo sugestivo y campestre, entre huertas de hortalizas, granjas y cercados con caballos y vacas. Pronto se llega hasta una bonita presa, donde están el Molino de Caparroso y la , que nos conduce hasta el Parque de la Tejería. Al final del meandro nos encontramos con el puente gótico de la Magdalena (XII), por donde pasa el camino de Santiago. Si miramos hacia Pamplona, todo este paseo es paralelo al parque de la Media Luna y al lienzo más antiguo de la muralla, la Ronda Barbazana. English. The Riverside Walk along the Arga is an eleven-kilometre path along the banks of the river. It enters Pamplona via the market gardens of La Magdalena, crosses the Rochapea district and, after approaching the centre of the city, leaves the area via the San Jorge district. The Walk also follows the riverbanks in many towns/villages in the basin of Pamplona, such as Burlada, Villava, Arre, Barañáin and Zizur Mayor. Section of La Magdalena (Larraintzar – Bridge of La Magdalena) This is the Riverside Park’s first meander downstream and reaches the Bridge of La Magdalena.It is an enticing, country-like walk through market gardens, farms and fields of horses and cows. You soon reach a pretty dam, which is the location of the Caparroso Mill and the Footbridge of La Magdalena, which leads you to the Park of La Tejería The Gothic Bridge of La Magdalena (XII), part of the Pilgrims’ Road to Santiago, is at the end of the meander. If you look towards Pamplona, the entire walk is parallel to the Park of La Media Luna and the oldest part of the city walls, the Ronda Barbazana.
