How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Join up in the parking lot of the MOA Planning Building at 6:15pm for a 15 minute session to discuss "Trail Aware" topics at the onset of spring. Issues include Bear Aware and Moose Aware behaviors, trail etiquette, and a quick brief on the latest in land use advocacy efforts.

Following the "Trail Aware" session you can go inside the MOA Planning & Development Center to observe GeocacheAlaska! Inc. board members at work. They'll be participating in the 7pm meeting with the MOA Community Development Dept's Transportation Planning Section to discuss the Anchorage Trails Plan. Board members and general membership of walking/running/hiking-related trail user groups are invited.
