Small peanut butter jar. Just off main trail, but uphill. Terrain rating allows for some snow to wade through. Available in moderate snow. Not handicachable.
Park at gate on Howard Road, just north of refuse disposal station.
This trail is an old railroad grade. The land was donated to the state by the Federal Government, for recreational use. In winter it's good for x-c skiing and snowshoe travel. In summer, walk, jog, or bike it. Horse travel OK. No motorized vehicles, so it's quiet and peaceful most of the time.
However, stealth will be needed at times of heavy use. This is a popular dog-walking trail. RLDrosophila and I have x-c skied here many times with ours.
You'll need a writing instrument. There is a First to Find prize in the cache, and a selection of trinkets for trade.
