On the outskirts of Kawerau is Tui Glen Farm. It has about 3500 acres of New Zealand native bush and farmland on hills. The crystal clear Ruruanga Trout Stream runs through the property and on down through Kawerau.
Walking trails are available, but you do not need to go on to the property to access the cache.
