scAT attack Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

NW_history_buff: I contacted the individual who owns most of Miller Hill (the summit is owned by the FAA and they require an access road to their equipment). He was accepting of myself being on his land but wasn't so sure about other geocachers. I tried to share the CITO practice with him as a way to help clean up some garbage on his property but he just didn't get it. I'm assuming it was the actions of a few that ruined a good thing for the rest of us, hence the no trespassing signs that now exist at the gate leading to the caches. For this reason, I'm archiving the caches that I own on this hill. It was a good little run but I need to respect his private property.

Geocache Description:

Cache is located on Miller Hill close to a beacon light that is broken and probably no longer used.

Blue-Eyed Barbie and I were intrigued by the beacon light nearby and had to hike to this location to check it out. While approaching the beacon light, we saw a rock "pile" close to the cache location that looks like, well, you'll see. We figured this was as good a spot as any to plant our cache, hehehe....

There is a waypoint to use as a parking spot to start your trek up here. Miller Hill is government-owned land surrounded by private ranchers all around the base, and with Falcon Heights subdivision to the south. There is also no public vehicle access to any part of Miller Hill, so you'll have to hike to this and other caches up here.

Have fun with this adventure.
