Geocache Description:

Sitting at the village sign where I live I was trying to decide how my next cache placements might work, after a while the following came to mind, with the inspiration of some recently placed caches.

THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE LOCATION GIVEN

..

The sailing ship on the weather vane depicts the Ann on which Edward Bangs sailed to the new world in 1623. He was baptised in the village in 1592.

Panfelda is recorded in the doomsday book but what is the date?

In the left panel of the village sign you can see the seed grower a link with the agricultural past.

The centre panel shows the church which is the oldest building in the village.

The right hand panel shows a monk which is a link to the priory that once stood in the village but no longer exists.

From your start point you need a bearing of 265o and a distance of,Panfelda's record + 277 mtrs.
