The Ancient Wood Multi-Cache
tombraider4: It has been one year since this was last found. On visiting my geocache today, both parts of the multi stage cache have been removed! I have decided, rather than replace to archive this one.
Happy geocaching.

A walk with Nature.
A two stage multi-cache taking you on a 1.6 mile walk through Spring Wood, Millennium Wood and Bobbits Lane Meadow.
The listed co-ordinates lead you to a micro cache where you will learn the co-ordinates for the final cache. Please replace and secure the two caches exactly as you find them for others to enjoy.
A FTF pin badge has been placed in the final cache.
*** Congratulations to RubyandCo for the FTF ***
To enjoy the full walk, I suggest that you park at the start of Bobbits Lane at the suggested co-ordinates. The walk can be shortened by parking at the end of Bobbits Lane, but you will miss out on walking through the woodlands.
The wildlife is in abundance in this area. Please check-out the information boards. From the start, head towards Spring Wood and enter via the 2nd gate (nearest to the A14). Follow the well made track though the wood and turn right at the end of the path, go through Millennium Wood up a few steps, turning right onto the main bridle path.
Time to start searching for the first cache now. Good Luck! On the return leg, continue along the bridle path to Bobbits Lane car park and turn left and walk through Bobbits Lane meadow. This will lead you back to the starting point.
A Cachers Poem
The ancient wood with its old oak trees,
A cacher enters, watch out for those bees.
To search for treasure and that first to find,
Amongst the heather, it tests the mind.
A muggle approaches with a friendly hello,
We return the welcome with an outward glow.
Onward we travel with our gadgets in hand,
Wa-hay! Another cache found, how grand.
We hope you enjoy your adventure today,
Through woodland and bush we go astray.
A great spotted kingfisher may be your reward,
Or another cache found to add to your hoard!
