July is fun time in Nodaway County. And I am having a geocache poker run event. Door prizes and Garmin representative will be there too. We will meet in the Nodaway County Administration Center. Up town Maryville town square, corner of 4th and Vine. Park on the North East side of court house square. There will be 30 plus caches (will give total later as it gets closer) around Maryville and surrounding small towns. I will release some caches further away on Friday. There will be several FTF pins and key chains. We will meet back up at 6:30 in front of the administration center. Top 3 hands win a gas card and every one that come back by 6:30 gets a chance to win a GPS in a ticket drawing. Winners will be announced between 8-8:30 on the main stage. Grab a bite to eat from any of the different venders or restaurants near by, enjoy a few carnival rides, or set back and listen to 2 FREE shows. Nashville recording artist-Rickie Lee Tanner opens for Gwen Sebastain who was on the tv show "The Voice" this year for team Blake.
For any one interested in coming early or making a weekend of it, there is a lake with campground outside of town, Mozingo Lake.
