Geocache Description:

Scar Road was intended to provide access to Long Lake and to a planned picnic area, it was named for the blight it has left on the landscape. The unfinished project was abandoned. This area was originally known as the Hartlen Farm but changed names when William Warner married a Hartlen daughter: subsequently it was referred to as the Warner Farm, circa 1831.
Motorized vehicles are not permitted within the park boundaries.
