Greygill Head at 474m is a rough and rocky hill overlooking Moffat. You will have to pass through a field with cattle and sheep although the field is large and the cattle usually don't bother you! :)
Good parking is available at the moffat well and farmers tracks lead most of the way to the cache. The cache is a 4 clip tesco food storer and is hidden in or around high torr cairn. The ground on top of the hill is very rough so watch your footing as the heather can cover rocks and holes. As always when hill walking make sure someone knows where you are going and how long you will be. Excellent views of Moffat on a clear day. Binoculars are a must!
Please take care to follow the clue and to replace any disturbed stones and replace the cache in its original hiding place.
Thanks
