Geocache Description:

This is a micro cache, well hidden, with lovely views on a good day

This cache is placed on a hillside overlooking Porth, with views up to Pontypridd. We’ve walked passed this place many times on the way up to the pub in Llanwonno :).

The cache is placed here to show the lovely fossil on top of the stone, our friends think it looks like prehistoric scrambler tracks, but we’d like to know your theory on what it could be.

Once you’ve found the cache please sit on the stone with a picnic maybe and admire the view.

If you’ve made the effort to walk up to this cache why not do some of the other caches in the area.

It is a micro cache with no room for swaps, please bring your own pen/pencil.Please re hide as found, thanks.

*****If arriving at this cache via the housing estate, please park there, as there is no vehicle access on the private road. Please also note, leave the gate at the top of the hill as you find it and keep dogs on leads after this, as there are normally sheep in the field***

We suggest you find our other “Area 39” and walk up from there.

*****Congratulations to Preseli on FTF*****
