Geocache Description:

Redhill Bridge over Crandlebridge Sewer

This area of Kent is made up of low lying, flat wetlands and marshes. All around there is a vast network of deep drainage channels known locally as Sewers, which serve to irrigate the land. These waterways are managed by numerous sluice gates and pumping stations, examples of both can be seen from the cache site. The cache itself is located near Crandlebridge Sewer on Redhill Bridge, part of the major route between Tenterden and Appledore. Parking is available very close to the cache, but watch out for the ruts and potholes. Health and Safety: PLEASE BE CAREFUL NEAR THE ROAD. THERE IS NO NEED TO CROSS ANY WALLS OR FENCES. THE WATERCOURSE IS DEEP, FALLING IN IS NOT RECOMMENDED. The locals will know that the weather around these parts can be pretty wild at times due to the exposed nature of the landscape and proximity to the English Channel... but on a clear day the uninterrupted views extend for miles. Just for fun see if you can add something in your found log that is visible from the GZ that nobody else has noted.
