This cache is a small matchstick container located on the back side of Amelia Park near the kids playground. Lots of muggles walking the track and playing in the playground. This park is open to the public from dawn to 10pm at night. Please no nighttime caching.
I grew up in Saraland and recently moved back to the area. I was surprised that there wasn't a cache at this and some of the other parks. So I have pledged to fix that for fellow cachers. I obtained permission to place this cache from the Mayor, Dr. H. Rubenstein.
This park has changed a lot since I was a kid. Near to the cache there was a pavilion and small playground area. It was not nearly as nice as the current playground.
Today the 2hypergirls, Brianna and Kailey, picked the spot for our first hide. We frequent this park alot and often ride our bikes to it. We hope you enjoy the park.
