Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden at the Lamb-Fish Bridge in Tallahatchie county. If you've never seen this bridge before, it's a must-see. Built in 1905 by the American Bridge Company, the draw bridge is a vertical lift design. The concrete counterweights that operated the bridge can still be seen, although they are now fixed in place.

You are looking for a camouflaged plastic jar which contains trade items and a log book. Please place back exactly as found. Original contents include: Playdough, hand sanitizer, yo-yo, flamingo beads, crayons, logbook and pen. There is also a FTF magnet for the first cacher to claim.

The bridge was originally a railroad bridge used to bring lumber from the delta to the Lamb-Fish sawmill in Charleston, MS. At one time, the Lamb-Fish sawmill was the largest in the world. Additional details about the bridge and lumber company can be found at (visit link) and (visit link)

This cache was placed with the permission of the Tallahatchie County Board of Supervisors.
