Depending on the light, it could be in plain view ... but only if you get your head into the right place and pointing in the right direction. A torch would be useful in poor light.
It might be tricky in big high tides and/or during stormy weather.
The beach here is a safe swimming beach, the jetty is a popular dive site and fishing spot and the area has a rich history dating back beyond European settlement. This is a great place to visit at any time of the year. Enjoy the area.
