Enjoy the view.

Verendrye is the name given by the pioneers to this area. From the cache site, the closest body of water to the northwest is Verendrye Marsh. Far beneath the surface is part of the Viking Formation, hydrocarbons trapped in a sandstone formation. This accounts for the oil and gas wells you see in the area. Congratulations to candlelightforge for being FTF for my first four caches, including this one.
