Geocache Description:

A simple micro at an interesting spot in the woods about 50 feet off the trail. Cache is a magnetic, 6-inch-long preform tube. Park at Park Ridge Park East (N 39° 10.001' W 86° 28.401'). BE CAREFUL! DON'T CUT YOURSELF ON THE METAL!

You know how it is. You're hiking through the forest, and not too far off the trail you spot something that just doesn't seem to belong. "What the heck is that?" you ask your hiking buddy (or yourself). And off you are to try to answer that question.

Maybe you can actually answer the question for us this time because TigerStyle7 and I still don't know what the heck this stuff is.

We would've hidden something bigger, but this is all we had on us at the time. Besides, I just can't pass up an opportunity for a magnetic cache out in the woods.

Update (2013/4/1): So apparently someone (see Jmebd's log below) has been complaining about parking where I originally suggested (N 39° 10.201' W 86° 28.325), despite the fact that it's clearly a public street and there are no posted signs about not parking in the area. I'm pretty darned sure that the trails in the area are public also public. However, clearly, someone who lives in the area doesn't like us parking there, and even though they went about it in a very obnoxious manner, I feel we should take the high road and honor their wishes. There are a number of other places you can park to access the trails here. I don't know how long the trek will be, but you can probably get to the trails from Park Ridge Park East (N 39° 10.001' W 86° 28.401').

Additional Hints (Decrypt)

[The hint is essentially a giveaway, so don't read it if you want a little challenge. The way I see it, most cachers don't come out into the woods to poke around searching for a micro. But if you're the exception and you don't want the hide spoiled, don't decode this hint!] Fbzrguvat frrzf gb or pybttvat hc gung cvcr...
